Formica laminates are difficult to ignite and have properties that retard “spread of flame”, thus prolonging
evacuating time.Due to incomplete burning, as with many organic materials, hazardous substances are to be found in the
smoke. However, Formica’s HPL are capable of meeting Euroclass B-s1,d0 Fire Retardant Certificate in accordance with European regulation EN 13501-1.VIVIX panels are certified by the CE Mark and Formica Group are FSC® certified and comply with the requirements of FSC.

High pressure laminate panels are manufactured in Europe to ISO 9001 standards with minimal environmental impact. They contain 3% of pre-consumer recycled wood fibre content (ISO 14021), which come from responsibly managed forests.
